The Catholic Women's League of Canada
St. Francis de Sales Council, of the Catholic Women's League (CWL), is a group of women that meet once a month for spiritual, educational, and social involvement. It is a unique opportunity to get together with other women in the parish, share ideas, and join in our many charitable events: Bake sales, Fashion Show, and Christmas Bazaar. The CWL work on many church activities and we are proud to manage the gift shop after each Mass. All women are encouraged to join! St. Francis de Sales CWL meets on the first Wednesday of each month at the parish. For further information, please email us at cwl.sfdsajax@gmail.com

Children's Liturgy
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them..." (Mt 19:14). The Children's Liturgy is a vibrant ministry for children in JK, SK, and Grade 1, where the Liturgy of the Word is presented to children in a way that is fun and easy to understand. Children's Liturgy takes place during the 5pm Mass on Saturdays and the 10:15 a.m. Mass on Sundays. During this difficult time, we will continue to bring the Word of God to children through a live online liturgy every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. (JK & up). The virtual session follows the same practice as the children's liturgy at Church where kids pray and experience the Sunday readings at their own level. If you and your children would like to join, please contact Christine Santos at santoschristine@hotmail.com or (416) 877-5767 for more details.

The Finance Council is mandated by Canon Law. They serve in an advisory capacity in all things financial pertaining to the monies of the Parish. They help maintain the accounting books, and various diocesan reports, as well as coordinating the counting and banking of our collections. The Finance Council meets the first Sunday of each month.

Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus (KofC) Council has been serving the parish and the surrounding community since 1969. Its works are based on the founding principles of charity, unity, and fraternity, which were established in their charter by the Knights of Columbus founder, Father Michael J McGivney. Through the years, this council has helped form three other councils in the Durham Region: St. Isaac Jogues, St. Bernadette, and Holy Redeemer. The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic service reorganization with active members that are involved in many parish and community programs. Among these programs are the pasta dinners, the basketball free throw competition, and the annual Car Draw Lottery for the Arthritis Society. The Mother's Group
The St. Francis de Sales Catholic Mother's Group meets on the second Wednesday of the month in the evening. Attending a Catholic Mother's Group meeting is your time for prayer and growth as a Catholic mom tackling the responsibility of raising children (tots, tweens, teens, adults, or grandchildren) in an increasingly secular world. Each month we begin with prayer, which is followed by fellowship and guidance through different resources such as informative video series, great clips, podcasts, and more. We welcome all mothers, no matter what stage of mothering you are in. For more information on when we meet, please be sure to check out the parish bulletin. For any inquiries, please contact lisa@catholicmomsgroup.com or a_ferns8@hotmail.com. For more information on the Catholic Mother's Group Ministry, you can also check out www.CatholicMomsGroup.com
