The Sacrament of Confirmation

Congratulations to all candidates on receiving your Sacrament of Confirmation this year! You are now sealed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit! Thank you to all catechists and volunteers for supporting the Confirmandi throughout the preparation period and all Confirmation Masses. Your time, talent, and wisdom shared with our young people are greatly appreciated.

Attention all families with students in Grade 6:

Next school year, your child in Grade 7 will have the opportunity to embark on a journey towards receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. Confirmation is a decision that brings you to a point of spiritual maturity as you complete your sacraments of initiation and launches you into another phase of Catholic Christian relationships with Jesus. As taught in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Confirmation is a personal decision made by the individual. 

We invite your family over the summer months to spend some time in prayer and discussion to decide if you/your child will receive Confirmation in the new year. In September, registration forms will be given to the students in our six Parish family of schools. All other registration forms for students attending Other Catholic and Public/Private schools can be picked up at the Parish at a later date in September. There will be a mandatory Information/Registration meeting at the Church for those who would like to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation during the 2026/2027 school year. 

Please note that we will not accept registration forms/paperwork after the registration date. Please ensure you have all the completed paperwork required for the registration meeting:

1. Completed registration form 
2. Copy of your child's Baptismal certificate 
3. Registration fee
4. Sponsor's paperwork which includes a copy of sponsor's Baptism and Confirmation certificates
